Curriculum Themes

Combining STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and class-based learning gives children a more powerful way of seeing how all the different subjects support each other. It also helps children relate the different subjects they are learning about back into their day-to-day lives. Dr Anna Does takes key National curriculum themes and our extensive background knowledge to provide value for money, age-appropriate lessons. Each theme incorporates a practical firsthand activity for the children to complete. These activities save primary school teachers valuable time by incorporating STEM teaching into their already busy schedule while engaging the children.

Dr Anna Does also enhances the children’s practical element with additional class resources not normally available to Primary schools. They help consolidate the children’s learning, so each session directly shows how that key theme applies to their real life. Giving the children time to explore the resources provided, the children can be creative at a level that is comfortable for themselves, while still in a mixed ability classroom. The learning provided is given in multiple practical, vocal, and visual forms that help them think creatively while in the classroom and later back in their own home.
